Difference

Director’s Statement:

DIFFERENCE is a short video about women, beauty, and plastic surgery. It suggests a connection between the desire to look like celebrities and fear of being different. Paradoxically, the piece also expresses anxiety about technologies that allow us to look more and more alike and the value of physical difference today. I hope it will provide a provocative starting point for conversations about beauty, culture, and difference.
